Today I finished up at my current workplace, and to mark the moment I decided to bake. It’s generally a good plan if you’re fundraising or leaving to make cakes – people are much nicer and more generous when presented with treats.
What I wanted to do was make a cake with Irn Bru in it, and after a little digging I came across this blog. After a couple of abortive attempts to get the mix right (US conversion tables fail), I finally baked a batch that worked quite well and thought I’d share the measurements (and some tips) from my own experience of baking them.
